Choosing the right pillow

The right pillow keeps your neck level with your spine. Side sleepers usually need a higher, firmer pillow to fill the gap between the head and shoulder. Back sleepers suit a medium pillow. Care

Use a pillow protector, change your pillowcase once or twice a week, and air the pillow in a shaded spot regularly. Follow the care label: fibre pillows can often be machine washed, while latex and memory foam should be spot cleaned only. Replace a pillow when it no longer springs back after fluffing, usually every 1 to 2 years.
